I have to say, I love shopping at Costco. They have lots of great deals for big families as long as you want to buy in bulk. One of the things we always buy is a giant bag of chicken burgers. Now, eating a whole, GIANT bag of chicken burgers might take awhile unless you really like chicken burgers. So,to make lunches and dinners a little more exciting, I have found different ways to make the chicken burgers so that you don’t have to keep eating them in a bun.
Buffalo Chicken Wrap
Whenever I go to a restaurant, there is a good chance that this is what I will order if it on the menu. I’m proud to say that I have figured out how to make a delicious wrap. You will need:
Tortilla shell
Ranch Dip
Lettuce
1 Chicken Burger
Franks Red Hot Sauce
Cheese
Place the tortilla shell on a plate and spread some ranch sauce on the shell. Put the lettuce on next and top with the burger cut into strips. Shake some hot sauce on top of the chicken and top with cheese. That’s it! Roll and Enjoy!
Chicken Alfredo
Boil some pasta and add some Alfredo sauce to it it once you have drained the water. Cut your burger into strips and top your pasta off with some chicken and Parmesan cheese!
Tacos
Buy one of those Old El Paso Taco kits and use the chicken burgers as your chicken! I wouldn’t recommend using the taco seasoning though. It will make the burger crust go soggy. Great toppings for tacos include cheese, lettuce, salsa, sour cream, avacados and tomatos
Mandarin Chicken Salad
Throw some lettuce into a bowl and add some oranges and avacados on top. Throw your chicken burger, cut into cubes into the salad and top with an orange vinagrette. You can either buy the dressing at the store, or make your own. Here is a good recipe for the vinagrette.
Chicken Strips
This one is super simple. Cook the chicken burger and cut into strips. Serve with a plum, sweet and sour or bbq sauce! My son Jack loves this one!
