Superbowl – One of the best events of the year because it’s an excuse to make excessive amounts of food and eat it. I have been hosting Superbowl Parties for my friends for almost ten years now, with the help of my dad, and I would say we are definitely experts on the subject. Our goal – to have our guests leaving stuffed to the point where they are uncomfortable, but extremely happy. This year we had fourteen satisfied guests leave fat and happy.
My Dad is always a big help at these parties because he does the meat. He LOVES barbecuing and smoking any type of meat, so this year he did the pulled pork and the beef. They were, of course, delicious.
Some menu items for our Superbowl and Grey Cup parties are standard – cheese and chocolate fondue, wings, and chips. They are at every “cup” party that we host. Other items, like the pulled pork and bbq beef are switched up through the years. Sometimes it’s pizza, sometime’s it’s meat on a bun. We try to make the food so that you can eat it with your hands. It’s hard enough to hold a plate and a drink, so if you can use your hands it makes things a little easier.
Here was our menu for the night. I always sort our food into quarters so we know when to bring out the next set of dishes. I have linked recipes to some of the menu items.
