Well, I survived the first night of the girls sleeping in their own room! I actually think they liked being in there better because Eva and Marie have their own space and they aren’t crowded into a tiny bassinet. Yay! When the girls woke up this morning, they played in their cribs and were definitely enjoying the amount of room they have in their new beds. They had flipped all over the place and definitely were NOT where they started. It was adorable.
Both girls slept really well last night, although each girl stayed awake longer when she did wake up. It took me 45 minutes to get Eva back to sleep at TWO in the morning, and Marie woke up twice, once at one and once at four. That is still REALLY good for both girls! Hope it keeps up!! I can’t wait for the day that I get more than 2 hours of sleep at a time… hopefully soon!
The disadvantage of last night was that Jack woke up soaked in pee. Poor kid. Since taking him out of night time diapers, he only had an accident the first night and it’s been about two weeks, so I don’t consider it a big loss. Two accidents in two weeks isn’t bad for a two year old. I’ll take it as a win.
Stay tuned for more bedtime adventures! I’m sure I’ll have lots!
